Lacrosse

Returning to the Olympic program after a 120-year hiatus, Lacrosse's inclusion at LA28 marks an exciting moment for the dynamic and tactical sport. Lacrosse is a team sport in which players attempt to throw a small rubber ball into their opponent’s net using a long-handled stick. LA28 will feature the sixes format of Lacrosse, in which teams of six players keep the action coming across four 8-minute quarters. High-speed and non-stop, featuring rapid transitions and tons of scoring opportunities, Lacrosse is sure to energize and captivate fans at the 2028 Games.

The player is also wearing a white helmet with a blue visor, white gloves, and arm guards. In the background, another player in a white uniform and one in a red uniform are visible, with the game taking place on a green field.
