NAVIGATING THE LA28 GAMES

Our Games have events taking place in zones across LA, Southern California and OKC. Zones are geographic areas containing one or more LA28 venues. They provide a simple way for fans to understand where competitions will take place and what’s around them. Whether you’re trying to decide which sessions to attend or preparing to register for the LA28 Ticket Draw,* this page can help you plan with confidence.

LA28 ZONES

The LA28 Games include zones across Los Angeles, Southern California and Oklahoma City. Check out the LA28 Venues page to explore which venues are in each zone and what sports are at each venue.

PLAN SESSIONS BY ZONE 

Searching for sessions within the same zone helps you maximize your experience. Imagine your perfect day at the 2028 Olympics watching Judo at the LA Convention Center and then Artistic Gymnastics at the DTLA Arena—all within the DTLA Zone. If you want to explore multiple zones in one day, look for morning and evening sessions to allow for plenty of time to move throughout the city.

CHOOSE ACCOMMODATIONS BY ZONE

If you know which zone and sports you’ll visit most often, consider staying within or near that zone. As a Worldwide Partner of the LA28 Games, Airbnb provides a variety of accommodation options for visitors around the LA28 Games footprint. Airbnb accommodations will be available for booking starting in July 2026.

  • HOW MANY ZONES ARE PART OF THE LA28 GAMES? There are currently 18 zones across Los Angeles County, Southern California and Oklahoma City.

 

  • WHY ARE ZONES IMPORTANT? Zones help fans understand where venues are located and plan sessions by proximity to reduce travel time. 

 

  • WHERE CAN I SEE ALL THE ZONES ON A MAP? Visit the Games Plan page to view the full list of zones and view or download the maps. 

 

  • DO I NEED TO STAY IN THE SAME ZONE WHERE MY SESSIONS ARE?  Staying in your most-attended zone is not required but may reduce travel time.

 

  • WILL ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON TRAVEL BETWEEN ZONES BE PROVIDED? Yes. More details on how fans will travel to zones and enter and exit venues will be added closer to the 2028 Games. When planning, leave ample time between sessions, regardless of whether they’re at different venues in the same zone or at two zones in different parts of the city.
