LOS ANGELES RAMS BECOME FIRST DONOR FOR LA28’S FUNDRAISING EFFORT TO PROVIDE LOCAL NON-PROFITS WITH FREE TICKETS TO THE LA28 OLYMPIC AND PARALYMPIC GAMES

Donation to be Celebrated at Rams vs. Buccaneers Sunday Night Football Matchup on Nov. 23 on NBC and Peacock

LOS ANGELES (November 20, 2025) – As excitement builds for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the LA28 Organizing Committee announced a fundraising effort to get free tickets to the 2028 Games into the hands of local residents. The Los Angeles Rams are kicking off the initiative with a donation of $5 million.

The fundraising effort launched just under 1,000 days out from the 2028 Games, invites local sports teams, philanthropists and partners to fund ticket donations that will go directly into the hands of local community organizations to distribute within their communities.

“The 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games are for everyone. This program is about making sure that the people who live, work and contribute to the spirit of Los Angeles can access the Games taking place in their hometown,” said LA28 Chairperson and President, Casey Wasserman. “We’re incredibly thankful to Stan Kroenke and the Rams for being the first to step up for the people of their city. This is true partnership in action, and we look forward to welcoming others for this meaningful initiative.”

2028 Stadium, which was built by Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke as the anchor of his 300-acre Hollywood Park development, will host the Olympic Opening Ceremony and Paralympic Opening Ceremony for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and will be converted into the largest Olympic Swimming venue in history. In addition, Hollywood Park Studios, which is currently under construction, will serve as the host site of the International Broadcast Center (IBC) for the LA28 Games.

"When Stan Kroenke built SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park, it was with the goal of bringing the biggest global events in sports and entertainment to Los Angeles, with a strong belief in the positive impact they could have on communities all across the region," said Los Angeles Rams President Kevin Demoff.  "LA28 shares this vision of using sports to lift up Los Angeles as well as bridge the world. We are honored to team up with them to kick off this program which will give thousands of Angelenos who otherwise might not get to attend the Games an opportunity to experience it first-hand."

The Rams donation will be celebrated on the field at their next home game, in this weekend’s Sunday Night Football matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on NBC and Peacock. Prior to kickoff, the team will make an official check presentation to LA28, to mark the start of this impactful program.

LA28 welcomes individuals, organizations, philanthropies and leaders to participate in this effort, helping ensure that the Olympic and Paralympic Games are accessible to and reflective of Los Angeles and its communities.

Along with this fundraising initiative, the Los Angeles community at large is invited to take advantage of early access to purchase LA28 tickets when they go on sale in 2026, which includes single tickets starting at $28. More information on the local pre-sale will be released next year, and all are encouraged to sign up now at LA28.org to get the latest news.
