Q: Will organizations receive a Digital Guide for Celebrate Two Eight guidelines?
A: Yes, LA28 will provide a Celebrate Two Eight Digital Guide that provides thought starters, guardrails, commercial guidelines, LA28 Look and Feel, and more to assist organizations in successfully hosting a Celebrate Two Eight event.
Q: When can we expect to receive the Celebrate Two Eight Digital Guide?
A: The Digital guide will be distributed in two phases. Phase One will be provided in Q3 2026, Phase Two will be provided in Q2 2027.
Q: What are the commercial guidelines for promotion, marketing, fundraising and use of vendors?
A: The Celebrate Two Eight Digital Guide will come with detailed commercial guidelines, rules and restrictions.
Q: What are the costs associated with hosting a Celebrate Two Eight event?
A: The host organization is responsible for managing the complete production of the event (and all associated costs), including without limitation, securing all necessary permits and implementing security measures, (if required) providing large screens, any requisite infrastructure, seating, and appropriate shading, and ensuring accessible accommodations.
Q: Does LA28 provide assistance with obtaining permits to host a Celebrate Two Eight event outdoors?
A: No, LA28 will not provide permitting assistance; this responsibility falls to the host organization entirely.
Q: Are host organizations allowed to charge attendees for entrance to a Celebrate Two Eight event?
A: No, Celebrate Two Eight events must be free to attend.
Q: Can our organization promote the Celebrate Two Eight event?
A: Yes, you may celebrate and promote your Celebrate Two Eight event(s) in accordance with LA28’s Celebrate Two Eight’s Digital Guide.

A: No, there is no requirement for a certain length of event or continuous operation.
