Para Taekwondo

Para Taekwondo is a martial art where athletes aim to strike their opponent with kicks and punches while evading attacks. Athletes are classified into weight categories and matches take place on an octagonal mat over three rounds of two minutes each. Points are awarded based on the difficulty of techniques used, regular kicks earn two points, while spinning kicks garner three or four points. Victories can be achieved by accumulating a 20-point lead, scoring 40 points first, or having the most points at the end of regulation time.
