Squash

Squash is a fast-paced racket sport where two players battle it out in an enclosed court with four walls. High-intensity and strategic, this event demands explosive agility from its athletes as they race to return a small rubber ball before it bounces twice. Every game is played to 11 points and a match is the best of five games. A 2-point margin is required to win a game, and if a score is tied at 10-10, play continues past 11 points until a margin of two is achieved. LA28 marks Squash’s debut as an Olympic sport, reflecting the sport's massive worldwide popularity.
A female squash player in a purple dress, white sneakers, a wristband, and a headband is preparing to hit the ball with her racket. She is positioned in a dynamic stance with her right arm extended high and back, ready to strike, while her left arm is outstretched for balance. The court is surrounded by glass walls, through which a crowd of spectators can be seen watching.
