Canoe Sprint

Both Canoe and Kayak races are part of the Olympic Games, each governed by its own set of regulations. Canoeists assume a kneeling position in their boats and utilize a single-blade paddle, while kayakers sit and use a double-bladed paddle. Sprint race competitions occur on flatwater and are completed in heats with paddlers staying in their designated lane. Sprints across varying distances, with one, two or four athletes per boat.
